  • Very good question! Your wedding fee includes your 2 or 3 night stay in Bracken Treehouse, flowers for your ceremony (bouquet and buttonholes), a fantastic photographer to capture the moment and exclusive use of our woodlands.

    Also included is a large selection of food and drink which comprises of but is not limited to; breakfast for both days, a meal for the night you arrive, light lunch for day of ceremony and a meal for after your ceremony.

    Prior to the big day we will email you to find out what you would like to eat and drink on your wedding day and we will do our best to accommodate your requests as much as possible!

  • Much as we adore them, we cannot allow dogs in the woods due to livestock in neighbouring fields. Thanks for your understanding.

  • We appreciate that some couples want it just to be the 2 of them, whilst others might want immediate family to be present. We can cater up to an extra 10 guests at Airdit for your service. However any food and drink that you would wish to provide for them, would be an extra cost.

  • Yes of course! We have arches, lampposts, glades and trees that all can be decorated to your taste. All that we ask that you take away anything you bring and that anything you put up does not leave any permanent damage.

  • Being in a wood the trees can provide some shelter, however it can get pretty wet in Scotland - even in the summer!

    If the weather looks like it might be less than ideal, we have umbrellas and you can also choose on the day where exactly you want to get married. One of the big benefits of small numbers is more flexibility!

    Also, if you wish you could hire a stretch marquee for extra peace of mind.

  • Unfortunately we cannot host fireworks displays up at Airdit due to the amount of horses, sheep and cattle in the nearby farms. We also have to think of the full time residents of the woods - the deer, bats, badgers and hare.

    However, we can set up a fire pits and sparklers for you and any guests with cosy blankets and marshmallows.

  • You are more than welcome to throw petals during your stay, but they must be natural petals. These can be provided from our florist.

  • We have a number of fantastic photographers that we have used in the past who we are more than happy to recommend to capture your special day. However, if you have a different photographer in mind and would prefer to use them, there will be a reduction in your hire fee.

  • You can arrive on the day before your ceremony from 4pm, however we will endeavour to get you in earlier if possible.

    Checkout is at noon on the day you leave.

  • Yes! It would be truly magical to marry underneath the stars and branches! It would require a little more work with lighting and input from your photographer, but it could be worth it!
